books, glorious books!

on Friday, i watched The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore for the first time. i watched it again with Chris on Sunday. it is amazing and i recommend - nay, insist - that all of you watch it! it won the Oscar for Animated Short Film at this year's Academy Awards, after all... and it's just generally pretty darn brilliant. if you have 15 minutes to spare, here it is:

anyway, i've been thinking about books and how great they are a lot more since watching it, and then managed to stumble across Bookshelf Porn this afternoon. oh dear. that, of course, got me thinking about bookshelves and their awesomeness, and so the hunt for the coolest bookshelves ensued. sit back, relax, and feast your eyes on...
