if my heart was a house

well, hi there :)

i discovered this meme on Annie's blog and couldn't help but join in - it's the most beautiful thing ever! check out her answers here - they're probably a lot more poetic than mine.

If I was a month, I'd be January, my birth-month - the height of summer and all things glorious.

If I was a day of the week,
I’d be Saturday, a day for adventure, exploration and laughter.

If I was a time of day, I’d be 11:11, when all things are possible if you just believe...

If I was a planet,
I’d be Pluto, because I often feel like I don't belong.

If I was a sea animal,
I'd be a penguin, because they are faithful and funny and gorgeous.

If I was a direction,
I’d be South-East, where the sun shines stronger and the winds blow harder and the storms make you feel more alive than ever.

If I was a piece of furniture,
I'd be a bean bag chair.

If I was a liquid,
I'd be Snapple.

If I was a gemstone, I’d be a garnet.

If I was a tree,
I’d be a yellow-wood.

If I was a flower, I’d be a tulip.

If I was a kind of weather, I’d be clear and sunny, with only the vague idea of a breeze...

If I was a musical instrument,
I’d be a trumpet.

If I was a colour, I’d be indigo.

If I was an emotion, I’d be anticipation. (i simply love the definition Wikipedia gives it.)

If I was a fruit,
I’d be a pomegranate.

If I was a sound, I’d be a crackle.

If I was an element,
I’d be fire.

If I was a car, I’d be an ancient Beetle, or a Mini Cooper.

If I was a food,
I'd be curry, because I can be dangerous if you aren't cautious!

If I was a place, I’d be the library. (couldn't help but agree with Ana on that one...)

If I was a material, I’d be cashmere.

If I was a taste, I’d be tangy.

If I was a scent, I’d be cocoa.

(and if my heart was a compass, you'd be North)

I love-love-loved your list. So much more poetic than mine, don't know what you're taking about. And I totes agree, Wiki's definition for "anticipation" is awesometastic.
